Lake Pleasant, Speculator in Spring

On March 25, 2016, we were driving up north and have been remarking on how El Nino has been making everything so much warmer in upstate New York this year.  When we reached Lake Pleasant in Speculator, N.Y., we could still see a layer of ice on the lake about half way across. I'm not sure how much ice there should have been this time of year had it been a normal year, but compared to how warm the Mohawk Valley has been this year, it was surprising to still see this much ice.
