I have posted reviews of the Turning Stone RV Park's grounds and facilities on other posts. This post is just about the actual camping sites.
I have attached a few pictures of different areas of the campgrounds. Compared to some of the RV parks I've visited, the sites were large, grassy, and well set for level set up. There were large paved areas for the RV's, full hook-ups in good condition, picnic tables and trash cans. As expected at an RV park, there were a large number of pull through sites for the big rigs. Those sites were a little closer together.
A view of the fire ring. Lots of space between the fire ring and the camper. Room for chairs and enough room to open your canopy without worrying about the smoke and flames damaging it.
There are open areas near each of the loops of camping areas.
Many of the camping areas have views of one of the ponds.
The picture below makes the rigs seem close together, and they are a little more snug here, but there are no neighbors across the road. There is a grassy area and a pond. I think for the little bit of space given up between sites, the lack of neighbors across the way and the pond make up for it. The sites are still roomier than many other locations I've been to.
And lastly, being a naturalist, the picture below is the area I would be staying. It's further from the buildings, playgrounds, and activities, but the sites are much larger and there are more trees around the area. It has a bathroom right in the center area of the loop. This area is clearly for the more rustic camper as opposed to the big rig type.
