These are two different colors of Asian Lilly that are in front of my house and once they grow, they look the same except for the color of the flowers. If you look at the two now, there is a big difference in the way they look as they emerge from the ground. The color of the stems, the pattern, the leaf tips. It's very surprising to me that they end up looking so alike.
type 1: these leaves stay more tightly bound longer and have slightly colored tips and a much darker green color to them.
type 2: notice how much lighter the leaves are, and it's not a difference in sunlight or camera exposure, they just really are that light, and the leaves open more broadly.
