Review of Turning Stone RV Park, natural setting area

I visited this facility many years ago when they first opened and at that time, I felt it was nice, but small and not rustic enough for my taste. I returned to see the updates and changes on May 14th, 2016. I was pleased to see the improvements made since my original visit.  This is a great option for those who want to visit Turning Stone Casino or their entertainment complex such as golf courses without staying in hotel rooms. I have posted information about the actual campsites and the amenities in this facility on additional posts.
The sign is fairly new and large and makes it easy to see the entrance.

It has very nice and well kept grounds. There are a number of water features. This picture shows the paddle boats.  There are a number of little pavilions near the water, a few bridges. They seem to be moving water areas which will help keep the mosquito populations lower.

Another pond area. This shows a small pavilion in the background, There were also geese at this pond.   The native cat tails were good to see as opposed to invasive species which have been trying to take over areas nearby.
Another water view. A different pavilion and a nice bridge to cross from the main building, and activities area back over to the camping areas.

There is a large open area. you can see the large pavilion and playground area in the distance.

The area has been landscaped with natural materials and made to entice nature as in this bird feeder and plantings near a split in the road. It would have been easy to just plant grass or cover the area in rocks, but this makes it much nicer.
Another pond view this time showing the real residents of the area. A family of Canada Geese hang out near the waters edge.
